Well – I have to admit to being fairly gutted after Bati’s excellent grid position was ultimately squandered due to a bad call on tyre compounds.
Alvaro ran with a softer front (as did Barbera, who also suffered though not to such a great extent) and his initial move up to P1 was soon undone, and he slipped back to 6th – losing all pace and impetus.
Very disappointing; not the kind of start to the season I think we had expected or deserved.
Let’s hope Jerez sees something very different.
