UPDATE: Thanks to ‘C’ for the comment, which says that in fact, contrary to our initial post listing him as being classified, Pere didn’t finish the race at all…
“He rode 3 laps and then fell while he was in 4th position.”
It was a wet race and run by Joey Litjens of the Netherlands.
If we can get more info, quotes and pics then we’ll pass them on…

Great shame for Pere; he’d done so well in France – and also pretty solidly in China too, in the wet 🙁
