Young Gun, Patrick Jacobsen is a force on the track. Growing up with credentials in AMA flat track racing, Jacobsen traded n the dirt for asphalt in 2005. PJ joined Celtic Racing in 2006 and earned his first National road racing championship title at the young age of 13.
In 2007 PJ was invited to compete in the MotoGP academy, for 4 events. Knowing that was a huge step in his career he sacrificed his final USGPRU race and his number one plate for an offer of a lifetime.
The opportunity paid off for PJ, he finished 2nd overall in the USGPRU National Championship.
His accomplishments to date are impressive:
– 31 AMA Flat Track National flat track titles (Miles, short tracks and TT’s)
– 2007 2nd Place Overall, USGPRU National Championships
– 2006 USGPRU National Champion
– 2006 AMA Road Race 125 GP Champion
– 2005 AMA Youth Rider of the Year
– 2005 AMA Dirt Track Rider of the Year
