After the good feeling on Saturday in the wet, the Avintia Blusens riders had great expectations going into the declared wet race. But luck wasn’t on their side and they couldn’t finish the French Grand Prix with good results. Yonny, who aspired to be among the best CRTs, had visibility probblems with his helmet. Iván had a crash in the second lap which lost him two laps until he could go out again. In the end a result which doesn’t show the real potential of the team.

Iván Silva (18º +2 laps): “In the warm up I felt very comfortable and I had a good feeling. We decided on a combination of tyres for the race which we afterwards found not to be the best. But what was really a shame was the crash shortly after the start. It took two laps to get the bike ready to continue and I was a long way down. I almost stopped, but the team didn’t deserve this. I hope in Barcelona the weather will be better and we can progress with the setting.”
