Dani Pedrosa Blog, Le Mans: “Time to think about Montmeló”

 In Blog, MotoGP, News

I would have liked to have started talking about how the race in Le Mans went, but the truth is that things did not go as we would have liked. We did quite well in the dry and on the Saturday, as I told you right here, we had a fast pace and we were pleased with the setup.

Even in the Warm Up we had some great sensations but in the race things went differently. We could not a good level of traction or anywhere the level we would have liked and we lost quite a bit of time because of that. In this type of race the details of the setup are crucial.

When it stopped raining I began to get a decent level of traction back and that allowed me to pick up a faster pace out on the track and above all my good sensations on the bike. I would have liked to have been in the mix for the victory, but it was not to be. Anyway it is important to carry on picking up points because the championship is very long and all we can do is look forward and try to do things better, the best we can, in the following race. We have a long way to go in this championship.

Over the next few days it is time to relax, get my strength back and prepare for the Catalunyan GP. Another of the great races in the calendar, meaning of course that we race on home soil and we will experience a great atmosphere, as is always the case there. Next week I will tell you more about Montmeló.

Regards

Thanks!
