The race at the Circuit de Catalunya was overall a satisfying one for the riders of the Desguaces La Torre – SAG Team.

Spaniard Ángel Rodríguez took a positive stock of the weekend, despite not being able to achieve the goal to get the first points of the season. When the red lights went out the Desguaces La Torre SAG Team rider made a start which put him in 18th position at the end of the first lap. From that moment on the race took a steady pace which Rodri used to improve one place on his grid position to finish in 20th place.

20.ÁNGEL RODRÍGUEZ (DESGUACES LA TORRE SAG TEAM // BIMOTA), 41’52.475:
“We finish a difficult weekend which had a good start but didn’t achieve what we’ve been looking for since some time. I’m happy for how we solved the problems, but overall we need to gain these five or six tenths in the qualifying, I really believe that if we can do that, we’ll be able to fight for points in Silverstone.”
