David Salom replaces Ivan Silva in Avintia Racing CRT project

The Mallorcan David Salom will be the new rider for the Avintia Blusens MotoGP team for the rest of the season, starting with the next round of the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano. Ivan Silva, who Salom replaces, will continue to work with the team as a test rider and travel to the Grand Prix rounds as a reserve.

The team responsibles of Avintia Blusens acknowledge the work Iván did for the team during the season, offering all his experience and working for the development of the new CRT.

Iván absolutely reached the goals the team and himself have set at the start of the season and thanks to his good work on the setting of his bikes, the team was able to incorporate David Salom to think about the near future and convinced that the experience of the Mallorcan in World Superbikes will allow him to be very competitive among the CRTs.

Both the team and David Salom are happy and excited ahead of this new step.
