The Tuenti HP 40 Moto2 Team official presented their 2013 lineup at the Telefónica Flagship Store in Madrid today. With Pol Espargaro, Tito Rabat and Axel Pons as their riders, the team stays the same as last season and the continuity will help the riders to improve their results this year, with the title the clear target for Pol Espargaro and Tito Rabat and Axel Pons being confident of significant improvements.

POL ESPARGARÓ “I’m very happy to continue another year with Tuenti HP 40, riding a Kalex and working with the technical team led by Santi Mulero. Last year we finished runner-up, winning four races, being on the podium eleven times and taking eight pole positions. This set us up to be one of the favourites for 2013, but obviously today we have the same amount of points as everyone else and to be Moto2 champion won’t be easy for anyone. Nobody wins a title with the points from the previous year and I will do my best to fulfill my childhood dream of being champion.”

TITO RABAT “Continuity is very important for every rider and I start 2013 with a lot of confidence, because I continue on a Kalex and with a spectacular technical crew. Last year I was a bit inconsistent and I learned a lot of things which will allow me to be among the fastest in every race this year. I want to be fighting regularly for the podium and become one of the main riders in Moto2. During the winter I prepared harder than ever and I’m sure that this will be noticable on track. I have grown as a rider and I want to make big steps and take advantage of this chance I have in front of me.” delante”.

AXEL PONS “For the first time I could prepare a preseason calmly and without any injuries and the results of the first two tests allow to me to look to the future with optimism. I’ve been very close to the front and I feel able to improve my previous results considerably when I have continuity. Moto2 is a very competitive and tough class and I’m absolutely convinced that this year I’ll make a step forward. I’m confident to be in the Top 10 soon and to continue progressing as a rider.”
