Toni Elías returns to action in Indianapolis after the summer break

Avintia Blusens Moto2 riders Toni Elías and Kyle Smith return to action this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, after having enjoyed a few days of vacation before tackling the post summer tour that brings them to the USA and will be followed by visits to the tracks of Brno and Silverstone.

Elías knows how to win in the Moto2 class on the American circuit as he has climbed to the top of the podium previously. Although so far the set objectives haven’t been reached yet, Toni travels to Indianapolis in high spirits and motivated for the second half of the season hoping it’ll be the opposite to the first half.

These days of rest were spent with my family and friends and the truth is that it has done me good to disconnect a little from everything. The season has not been easy, we have worked hard and in the end you need some time to relax. I hiked up the mountains, I have been surfing, I have not stopped cycling. In the end, I’ve been playing a lot of sports but in the relaxed way you doon holiday. Now it’s back to work and do it with great gusto and with the hope that the second part of the season will be much better. We’ve come to one of my favorite tracks where I’ve won in the past, so it’s a good place to start again.
