Video: CEV Repsol – The truly international national championship!

 In JuniorGP, News, Video

Action resumes this weekend at the CEV Repsol, a championship that has confirmed itself along the years as the stepping stone to the Motorcycling World Championship. The good organization, the excellent Spanish circuits and a weather that allows riding during most of the year have been attracting riders from all over the world for years.

The evidence of the CEV Repsol’s internationality is the participation of riders arriving from Venezuela, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Sweden and so on until a total of 19 countries.

The statistics from the last round held in Navarra show that more than a half of the participants in the Moto3 class (56%) arrived from outside our borders. In Moto2 they were nearly one in three (32%), while in the Stock Extreme class, percentage reached 29%.

These figures are later reflected in the Motorcycling World Championship, where Champions such as Casey Stoner or Stefan Bradl took their first steps in the same venues as Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo or Alvaro Bautista.
