After the triumph of Joan Mir with his first career victory, the Red Bull Ring was ready to host the Moto2 class with the two Leopard teammates Miguel Oliveira and Danny Kent looking to be protagonists of the events and ready to do their best when the lights went out.

The race, however, started immediately with an uphill battle for Oliveira, who in the second corner touched with another rider and miraculously remained standing, losing important positions.

From there began the personal comeback of the young Portuguese rider, who proudly tapped into his full potential and managed to climb, fighting a good battle with Luca Marini.

Despite the obvious vibration to his Kalex, in the final laps Oliveira brought out his best to cross the line in the points in 14th place.

#44 Miguel OLIVEIRA – 14th:
“It was a difficult race because the second corner I chose the wrong line, there was no room to get in and there was contact that made me slip into the back of the field. Then I started to recover but, with the passing of laps, I began to experience the same problem suffered in qualifying yesterday: the bike was vibrating a lot under braking and cornering center. I lost several tenths and I pushed hard doing my best.”
