Together, the two pilots of the Stefan Kiefer team duelled with Simone Corsi and entered the top ten with Kent able to lead the way in front of Oliveira, separated by less than 0.3s. When there were only 5 laps to gp, the fantastic tandem put their sights on the Kalex of Franco Morbidelli.

After the brilliant Warm Up this morning, Danny Kent jumped the Roman on the last lap with teammate Miguel Oliveira ninth overall.

#44 Miguel Oliveira – 9th:
“This race was very hard, a lot of water on track. In the first laps riding in the group was quite dangerous because you couldn’t see your line or anything in front of you because of the spray of the bikes. After I started to get some more clear vision I started to progress through the pack and I got the rhythm of the race. After that I tried to remain clam, I knew the race would be very long. Then Danny passed me towards the end of the race but I was comfortable behind him so decided to wait for the last two laps to make a move and try to attack. I started to close the front a lot, it wasn’t OK so I decided not to push so hard in the last lap and achieve our goal of the top ten.”
