Augusto Fernandez finishes nineteenth in Australia

 In Moto2, News

There was precious little luck for Augusto Fernández at Phillip Island today. The Spanish rider suffered many problems with the rear tyre that completely conditioned his performance. He was not able to fight at any time, and without being able to show the potential that we have become used to he crossed the finish line in nineteenth place.

A complicated race – but with a positive mind Augusto is already thinking about the next race in Malaysia, on November 1, 2 and 3.

Augusto Fernández, 19th, +33,324
“Very hard race today. We do not know what has happened, we believe that rear tire problem because it did not work. I could not fight with the rest of the riders, I lost many positions without being able to keep my pace. A shame since with this result we lose option to the championship, but the fight for the runner-up is still open and we will go for it. There are two races left and we will give everything, as always. “
