Gaviota Aspar Team and Albert Arenas leave Misano feeling good after a very hard race, in which they have fought for victory at all times. The leader of the Moto3 World Championship has been comfortable in the race, controlling the group, but without stopping thinking about finishing the race, after crashing last week. Gaviota Aspar Team rider took the lead on the last lap, but with two sectors to go, several riders passed him and he could no longer fight for the win. Despite everything, with this fourth position, Arenas increases his distance with respect to most of his rivals in the World Championship and will lead the standings before his home GP race.

Stefano Nepa closes the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix again in points, with a fifteenth position in a really fast race. The Italian fought with the second group of the race, after trying to keep up with the riders in front. However, he recognized that the race pace of the leaders was very high, so he has stayed in the group that was fighting for the fourteenth position. In this group, the Gaviota Aspar Team rider crossed the finish line second, beating other rivals on the finish line. The victory in Misano was for the Italian Romano Fenati, ahead of Celestino Vietti and the Japanese Ai Ogura.

4th Albert Arenas (+0.199):
“I am very happy, especially with the race and with how I felt, because I was able to enjoy it, but just until the middle of the last lap. We suffered in training and I was not at one hundred percent, but before the race we decided on a last adjustment and we got a bike that I really enjoyed and I was able to fight as I like. On the last lap the incidents I had weighed on me and, in addition, I was thinking about last week’s DNF. I wanted to try to fight for the victory very soon and they overtook me on the straight behind, but this fourth place almost tastes like a victory. I want to thank the team and KTM for the tireless work they are doing.”

15th Stefano Nepa (+6,165):
“It has been a positive weekend, we have done what we had to do, which was to improve compared to the previous race. We entered Q2 and in the race I started well, but the pace of the group in front was incredible. I have tried, but since mid-race I have not been able to follow them. I have nothing to regret, I have given everything. We will continue working.”
