Seventh on the finishing line and fifth place in the overall standings for Celestino Vietti at the end of the Portuguese GP the last round of the 2020 season. Andrea Migno is 21st after an uphill race.

Starting from the 14th box on the grid, Celestino has struggled to keep pace of the very first guys in the early stages of the race. 16th after the start, in the battle, he climbed up the rankings managing to close the gap with the group in front of him. With today’s points, he closes at 146 and confirms his fifth place in the overall standings.

Andrea was forced at the end of the group after he started losing confidence with the rear tire from the very first laps. Thanks to the team work seen throughout the season and the points earned (60 points), he allows the team to reach the third place in the ranking dedicated to the crews (206 points).

Celestino Vietti:

Not an easy Sunday, but a good ending. I’m happy because, after yesterday’s qualifying, I wanted to say goodbye to the Team with a good race. A pity for the championship, maybe we weren’t able to realize what we wanted, but I can only say thanks to the whole Team and to all those who work on the track and at home for their incredible support.

Andrea Migno:

I am very sorry to have ended the season with this result, a real shame. Right after the start, I had some problems with the rear tire and I was forced to give up positions. I gave my best until the finishing line, unfortunately without being able to be competitive.
