Jorge Navarro and teammate Fabio Quartararo unveiled their Moto3 World Championship project today, for a season in which they will continue to have the support of the Monlau Repsol Technical School.

The Matadero Contemporary Creative Centre in Madrid this morning welcomed the presentation of Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Navarro’s Moto3 World Championship project for 2015. Both riders will compete in Moto3 riding a Honda NSF250RW, in what will be the rookie campaign for the 15-year-old Frenchman and the first full season for the Spaniard.

Quartararo and Navarro were the champion and runner-up, respectively, in the FIM CEV Repsol in 2014. They have already shown their quality and potential in the opening tests of the 2015 preseason. They join forces with the structure with which Alex Marquez and Repsol won last year’s Moto3 title and have proven to be fast from the start: The Frenchman set the best times in recent tests in Valencia and Jerez, with Navarro also high up on the timesheets.

The event was attended by riders Sena Yamada, Aron Canet and Jaume Masia from the Monlau Repsol Technical School in the FIM CEV Repsol. The energy company has been working with this school for mechanics, engineers and riders in training young people for several years.

Involvement with grassroots sport is also achieved through the sponsorship of the FIM CEV Repsol, from which future World Championship stars such as Repsol Honda MotoGP riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa have emerged. Quartararo and Navarro now follow in their footsteps.

Jorge Navarro
“To be part of this structure is a dream come true. It’s an excellent team and represents great responsibility for me, but I think I’m ready for the challenge. It will be a great opportunity to contest my first full season in the World Championship. I have a great bike and great professionals and sponsors behind me, so we have to work hard from the get-go to try to repay this confidence placed in us with good results this season.”
