Paginas Amarillas HP 40 riders Luis Salom and Alex Rins left Jerez after a final day of testing at the Jerez circuit in good weather conditions. The two proteges of Sito Pons took advantage of a sunny day, no wind and a temperature which reached eighteen degrees in the air and twenty on track.

This third day of testing was useful to the Pons riders who added another good set of laps – Salom (51) and 54 Rins (54) – to over 150 accumulated in the previous two days.

The newcomer in the category, Alex Rins has continued working on his Kalex 2015, starting the day with the same base configuration ending yesterday. Alex left Jerez with a good feeling and the certainty of having taken another small step forward in his stage adaptation to the new Moto2 category.

His teammate, Luis Salom, has continued testing different options also on his Kalex and leaves the Jerez track confident and happy with the work done these three days, waiting for the next day test – also held at the Jerez circuit – from 17 to 19 March.

LUIS SALOM 1: 42,652
“The first day of practice it went very well despite the fall. Yesterday I improved on the first day and got a very good pace. We expected to further improve today but we have not succeeded. In the last run I mounted a tyre with which I hoped to improve performance but I have not succeeded because I have not felt at ease. The balance of these three days is good because we got a good pace and hopefully we can improve further at the test next month. “

ALEX RINS 1: 42,927
“I am very happy with the work we have done these three days in Jerez. We know the bike much better now and since yesterday we started working on the settings. I feel very comfortable and I think we achieved the goal which was to be consistent with every lap. Now we must continue working to take another small step forward but we can be satisfied and confident because working with the team is still very good and I feel great here. “
