Efren Vazquez to race with Ajo Motorsport in 2011

Efrén Vázquez now knows what team he will work with in the 125cc world championship next year. His impressive progress this season has given Herri Torrontegui the opportunity to agree a deal with Ajo Motorsport for the young rider. This new team relationship will allow his rider to start the new season with the maximum of support and the best chances. After all, Efren will take over the vacant seat of the new 125cc champion Marc Marquez, riding one of the two Derbi machines that the Ajo team will run. His new teammate will be French rider Johann Zarco.

“This year Efrén improved a lot and the next year he will try to fight for the victory in every race. For this we need the support and the technical structure of an excellent team and Ajo Motorsport is the ideal chance”, said Herri Torrontegui. The two previous championships for the Finnish team (2008 Di Meglio, 2010 Marquez) underline this excellence.
