The new QMMF Racing Team finished practice for the Spanish Grand Prix on a high note and is optimistic for the race. Ricky Cardús has been able to improve his best time by almost one second, which resulted in 19th place on the grid and boosted his hopes for a points finish.

Ricky Cardús – 19 º 1.44,375:
“I’m very happy. We have improved by three positions compared to the Qatar qualifying and improving race by race is precisely my goal. I have worked hard and I’m getting more and more confident with the bike. There are still many things I have to improve, but we’re definitely closer. Tomorrow I’ll give it everything. Afterwards there’ll be a three week break to reflect on these first two races and prepare for the GP in Portugal. “

Luis Soldano, team coordinater: “Ricky continued his upward path. At the first race in Qatar he started from 22nd place and now he is 19th. We know that he gets stronger and stronger during the race and we believe that he can reach the top 15.”
