Dani Pedrosa Blog, Sepang Test: “I can’t wait to get back on the bike!”

 In Blog, MotoGP, News

With the start of the new season it’s also the start of another blog of Dani Pedrosa, talking about how his off-season went and what’s awaiting him at Sepang.

Hello,

I was dying to write to you on my blog again so that I could tell you how the winter went and about how much I want to get back on my bike and start practice. The last couple of months I spent resting, enjoying some time with my friends, my family, and of course training so that I return in the best possible physical shape for the pre-season.

I spent Christmas with my family and friends. It is important to rest and relax during the winter because the season is very long and you have to have great reserves of strength. I have also done some cross-country skiing over the last couple of months, which I like a lot and helps build my fitness.

I also had time to relax and get away from it all for a few days in Lanzarote. I really enjoyed the good weather on the islands. Although the season starts a bit later this year it means we have more time to prepare ourselves, as it is very important to begin with your batteries charged to the maximum.

We are now in Malaysia. Today we have the team presentation and the truth is that everything has gone well. I am dying to get out on my bike at this circuit again. You have to make real good use of the few days of practice we have here in Sepang. We have to check how the bike is developing after the work that HRC did during the close season. I will be able to tell you more about the new bike next week.

Regards!

Dani
