QMMF Racing Team rider Elena Rosell felt strong enough to put up a show at the Misano Grand Prix and to battle with some other riders that had a similar pace on the track, but lost the rear and crashed on only the second lap after the re-start. Despite the early end of the race, Rosell remained upbeat about her progress with the new Speed-Up prototype and about her chances at he upcoming home Grand Prix of Aragón.

On the occasion of the San Marino Grand Prix, Mr. Rashid al Sulaiti received a warm welcome as the new team manager by both riders and the technical crew of QMMF Racing Team.

Elena Rosell “The beginning of the race, the first start, was good because I was behind some other riders and was able to match their pace. But then, at the re-start of the race, I crashed in only the second lap. The rear stepped out and I wasn’t able to save it. Of course I expected more from the race. I really wanted to fight with Marco Colandrea because we did similar lap times and had the same race pace. Now I have to wait for the next race at Aragón. I am confident because the team is doing a good job in setting up the bike. We just need more kilometres to understand the bike and to grow in the Moto2 category. But I think with experience and kilometres, we can do it and we can get some good results!”
