05 GP Mugello 2 de junio de 2013; Moto2, moto2,m2,M2Tito Rabat finished the day in third and Axel Pons was sixth, improving his laptime by 0.7 seconds.

It was a good day of testing for the team ahead of the Catalunya Grand Prix on 16th of June. The three Tuenti HP 40 riders focused on crossing several test items off the list, unfortunately less than planned due to the arrival of rain, but all three improved considerably compared to their performance during the weekend.

1. POL ESPARGARÓ, 1.52.717 “We had a lot of tests planned, but the rain forced us to stop the work halfway through. We’ve tested some settings for the chassis and suspension and it was easier for me to post good laptimes than it was during the weekend. I was able to do several laps in the 1’52s, like last year, while on the weekend I struggled to post low 1’53s. I hope this test will help us to start on a good food next week at home where I would like to give some joy to the fans who support me so much, not just when things are good, but also when they aren’t.”

3. TITO RABAT, 1.53.265 “The rain somewhat disrupted our plans, I started riding with a base setting and we wanted to go through the changes. I tested some things for the suspension and the clutch and I easily rode quicker than on the weekend. I wished we could have done more laps, but in general I’m happy and confident that at the Catalunya Circuit we’ll continue to be competitive.”

6. AXEL PONS, 1.53.504 “I tested different suspension settings and finished very happy, because I my best laptime was very good. During the weekend I didn’t lap under 1’54 and today and stopped the clock at 1’53.5, so we have a good base to start the work at Montmeló next week. I could also confirm that the right arm gives me a lot of trouble and when we get to Barcelona we have to search for solutions.”
