Cardus unhappy to finish outside points at Sachsenring: “I was expecting to do better”

The eighth round of the season comes to an end for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing riders at Sachsenring with Simone Corsi on second place. After an intense race alongside Torres and Espargaro, Simone Corsi has finishes a very disputed race in second place, providing the team with their first podium finish of the season.

Alex De Angelis finished the race in the Top5 after a very good start and a series of overtakes in the first few laps. Teammates Ricky Cardús and Mattia Pasini finishing in seventeenth and twentieth place respectively.

The next round will take place in four weeks time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway after the summer break.

Ricky Cardus “I had the pace to do a good race today and do a better result and for that I’m sorry. I had a few problems and a lack of confidence with the rear tire that was holding me back. I rode alongside Mattia for most of the race and overtook him at the very end opening a considerable gap. I was expecting to do better, but now I want to concentrate on training and being as competitive as possible for Indianapolis.”
