09 GP Laguna Seca 18, 19, 20 y 21 de julio de 2013With no Moto3 or Moto2 action at Laguna Seca this weekend it is left to FTR’s MotoGP riders to chase the points in tomorrow’s USGP.

The Californian circuit hosted an entertaining qualifying practice this afternoon that saw Hector Barbera (Avintia Blusens) again qualify as the leading FTR rider on the grid, the Spanish rider lapping thirteenth fastest overall and the third fastest CRT.

Hector Barbera (13th in MotoGP): “Last year I couldn’t race here due to injury so I was looking forward to coming here because even though it’s a complicated track, I like it a lot. Its twisty layout, the elevation changes and the famous Corkscrew make this GP a special round. In Germany we had a good race and we finished very close to the Ducatis so even though it will be very difficult we will try to fight tomorrow.”
