Moncayo hoping to deliver results at Indianapolis

 In Moto2, News

Indianapolis is not Alberto Moncayo’s favourite circuit, but the rider from Cadiz, like many others, gets immersed in the great atmosphere and just falls for its charm.

He’s been to this circuit before and always had good practice sessions, but the first time here with the Moto2 bikes is almost like the circuit is completely new to him. Moncayo is currently also returning from injury which prevented him from riding in Germany and he is rearing to go.

#17 Alberto Moncayo – 25th – 1.45.954
Physically I’m ok, only a few muscles in my leg hurt because it’s been immobilised due to the break. I was only able to do one test run on a motorbike but without much force the bike is not powerful enough to give you a real impression. But even so, the feeling is very good on the Moto2 bike. It’s pretty much just like I left off in Assen, but tomorrow we’re planning to change the suspension setup. I regained the feeling for the bike quickly and was able to improve much from one session to the next. The Speed Up goes really well, the wear of the tyres is not especially worrying and I just want to thank the team for their hard work. Let’s see if this weekend I can give the team the result they deserve and that we’ve been waiting for for so many months.
