Repsol riders took one-twos in MotoGP and Moto3 this past weekend at Indianapolis, and they now head to the Czech Republic looking to repeat the feat. Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa arrive at Brno as the top two in the premier class, whilst Alex Rins has further closed the gap in the Moto3 standings with a second win on the bounce. At the most recent race, held at Indianapolis, he won ahead of Alex Marquez –who earned a maiden podium in the World Championship.

The Repsol Moto3 riders are in high spirits in the run-up to this weekend. After a third win of the season, Alex Rins has reduced the gap at the top of the overall standings to 16 points. His teammate, Alex Marquez, will be boosted by a first ever GP podium at Indianapolis, as he takes further steps forward in his development as a rider.

Alex Rins
“We go to the Czech Republic with motivation at a high after the wins at Sachsenring and Indianapolis, and we will try to place as high up the order as possible at Brno. It’s a track that suited me from the start last year, despite me suffering three crashes over the course of the race I think that this season, with the bike that we have, we can improve a lot on the times that we set in 2012.”

Alex Marquez
“After taking my first podium in Moto3, we head to Brno even more determined to do well. Personally, this track is one that I like and we will try to continue working in the same way as before, which is very good. The track is tough, because of its length and how difficult it is to learn it well, although our having been there in 2012 helps. We had a good weekend at Brno last year until the Saturday, when I suffered a big crash and was not 100% for race day. However, I like the track and it suits my riding.”
