No prizes for Garzo and Manzi at the #FrenchGP

 In Moto2, News

Today’s race at the Le Mans Circuit was held under dry conditions and the FlexBox HP 40 riders, Garzó and Manzi, were eighth and ninth, respectively, on the starting grid.

The race started well for both of them and in the first laps Garzó was in fourth position fighting in the first group of the race. The Spaniard with the FlexBox HP 40 continued to climb positions until he was on the podium, when another rider took him off the track and he went to the ground without Garzó being able to avoid it. A pity to end the weekend like this through no fault of the incident.

Nor has Stefano Manzi been lucky. At the start he kept his position and little by little he was setting his pace, at which point he pushed too hard and crashed. A shame but with his mind already set on the next grand prix, which will be held at his home in Mugello.

Héctor Garzó

A pity to end the weekend like this. Today I felt very comfortable with the bike. I made a very good start, placing myself fourth and then third, until another rider took me off the track and I ended up crashing without being able to do anything. A shame because we could have gotten a good result. Thanks to the team as always for their good work.

Stefano Manzi

Today I don’t really know what to say. In the morning in the warm up in the water we were fast and the race, in the dry, was also fast. I have forced a little more than necessary and I have gone to the ground. I want to apologize to the team and now to think about Mugello.
