Unlucky Sunday sees Manzi finish #AragonGP in 18th, crash for Garzo

 In Moto2, News

The thirteenth round of the championship took place this weekend at the MotorLand Aragón track on a bad Sunday with results for the Sito Pons team.

Garzó, who started from the fourth position, has made a good start to the race and has been placed in the first front group fighting for the podium positions. Just at that moment, in an overtaking, the rider of the FlexBox HP 40 has crashed and has not been able to avoid the crash. A pity since Garzó could have achieved a good result today.

Complicated race also for his teammate, Stefano Manzi. Sito Pons’ pupil has not found the feeling this weekend, although today in the race he has climbed several positions, crossing the finish line in eighteenth position.

Stefano Manzi

It has been a difficult weekend. We have not found the feeling in any of the sessions or in the race, although today we have improved a bit. Now we are going to Misano, my home race and I hope we can regain our speed.

Héctor Garzó

Today was a shame. We worked well throughout the weekend and we could have achieved a good result, but I hit the ground after losing the front wheel without forcing or warning the bike. A pity because both the team and I deserve a good result. Now we are going to Misano and we will give it everything again.
