Johann Zarco rounds out almost perfect #PortugueseGP weekend with 2nd place, crash for Jorge Martin
Johann Zarco brings the Pramac Racing Team to the podium in Portimao after an almost perfect weekend for the French rider. Johann after taking pole yesterday, today conquered a very important second place that puts him in fifth position in the world ranking.
It was a more difficult weekend for Jorge Martin who unfortunately made a mistake and crashed compromising the outcome of the race.

I am very happy, I knew we could fight for the podium and we did it. It was very important both for me and for the team to do well in order to regain confidence. We made great strides and hopefully we can continue like this.

I’m very disappointed because I had a very good pace, I was fast and I could have really done well. I’m sorry because we have a lot of potential and we’re not able to express it. We will try again in a few days in Jerez.
